It's pole for Verstappen!

Perez, Leclerc, Sainz, Hamilton, Russell, Norris, Ocon, Vettel and Ricciardo.

It's a Red Bull 1-2.

Leclerc slots into second, a tenth off Verstappen.

Time for the final runs of the year in qualifying. One last blast for pole position.

Ricciardo can't beat Vettel. It's eighth for now.

He will have a three-place grid penalty.

Vettel goes seventh for Aston Martin - another tidy lap from the four-time champion.

Vettel and Ricciardo take to the track for their one and only run of the session.

Verstappen goes onto provisional pole position with a 1m23.988s, 0.293s ahead of Sainz.

A mistake in the final corner for Perez! He only manages second behind Sainz.

It's provisional pole for Sainz with a 1m24.281s, 0.062s ahead of Leclerc.

Next up - the two Red Bulls.

It's a 1m24.678s for Hamilton, less than a tenth ahead of Russell.

All cars except Vettel and Ricciardo are out on tracl.

The battle for pole position...

Stroll moves up to eighth.

Vettel is on a better lap and he goes fifth, 0.5s off Perez.

Tsunoda, Ricciardo, Stroll, Schumacher and Zhou.

Hamilton goes second, 0.3s off Perez.

Perez goes quickest with a 1m24.419s, 0.4s ahead of Verstappen.

Vettel splits the Mercedes duo with a strong first lap.
