How qualifying for the F1 São Paulo Grand Prix unfolded

Current top 10: Verstappen, Alonso, Leclerc, Norris, Gasly, Magnussen, Perez, Sainz, Ocon and Albon.

Alonso goes quickest with a 1m11.394s, 0.177s ahead of Norris.

Magnussen moves into fourth, 0.1s off Norris.

Norris is a tenth ahead of Verstappen. Mighty showing from Norris so far.

Hamilton goes quickest but we are waiting for more improvements out there.

Latifi goes quickest with a 1m15.969s. Things are changing very fast here at Interlagos.

Everyone is now out on track.

It will be last man across the line in terms of who makes it into Q2.

The timing screen is lighting up.

Gasly goes quickest with a 1m17.628s, 0.4s ahead fof Hamilton.

Gasly goes quickest in the first sector... slick time!

It looks like everyone is preparing slick tyres. Doesn't look ready yet but after several laps on them, it could work out.

Hamilton goes top of the timesheets with a 1m18.051s, 0.147s ahead of Verstappen.

AlphaTauri have stopped Gasly for slick tyres.

Alonso, Verstappen, Perez, Leclerc, Norris, Sainz, Ocon, Hamilton, Gasly and Bottas.

Verstappen goes quickest with a 1m18.495s, 0.2s ahead of Leclerc. 

Hamilton's first lap of the day puts him only 13th.

Sainz makes it a Ferrari 1-2. 

Leclerc improves to a 1m18.723s, 0.5s ahead of Gasly.

Bottas moves up to third. 

Leclerc is quickest with a 1m19.191s and he's on course to find more time in the Ferrari.

"We believe the final corner will be the wettest place." 

It doesn't look too wet out there at the moment but rain is on the way.
