How the 2023 F1 Monaco Grand Prix unfolded

There's rain falling in Monaco. Let's see what happens.

Gasly is the next one to pit for mediums. He rejoins in eighth. 

Verstappen, Alonso, Gasly, Russell, Ocon, Sainz, Hamilton, Leclerc, Tsunoda and Norris.

He's in for new mediums on Lap 44. He had Gasly right behind him before coming in.

"I don't know how long i can keep this up for..." - his lead over Alonso is 8.8s on Lap 44.

It's 9.3s between Verstappen and Alonso at the front. Leclerc is running 19.9s behind the Spaniard.

Verstappen, Alonso, Leclerc, Gasly, Russell, Ocon, Sainz, Hamilton, Tsunoda and Norris.

"I don't care about Hamilton!"

He's run into the back of Magnussen now. A disaster for Perez.

Another pit stop - Ferrari call Sainz in.

Ocon rejoined 2.6s ahead of Hamilton.

They respond to Hamilton's pit stop. 

Mercedes stop Hamilton for hards on Lap 32. Can he get a good undercut here?

It's now 7.8s between the top two.

Verstappen gets by his teammate into the tunnel.

He's now 10.6s behind Verstappen for the race lead - he's coming up to some lapped traffic.

Verstappen, Alonso, Ocon, Sainz, Hamilton, Leclerc, Gasly, Russell, Tsunoda and Norris.
