How qualifying for the F1 Canadian Grand Prix unfolded

Verstappen is 0.3s clear of Leclerc. Sainz is 1.6s off in third.

Norris and Hulkenberg complete the top five.

He goes 0.7s clear of Leclerc.

The Ferrari driver is now looking to respond.

Leclerc, Sainz, Hulkenberg, Tsundoa, Verstappen, Norris, Perez, Magnussen, Alonso and Hamilton.

"As always, just dangerous from the Ferrari. All the time. He just stopped in the middle of the chicane."

Leclerc and Sainz continue to show great pace in the Ferrari - first and second now.

P1 for the Haas driver now, 0.3s ahead of Leclerc.

Leclerc, Sainz, Alonso, Hulkenberg, Bottas, Magnussen, Russell, Verstappen, Stroll and Tsunoda.

1.4s clear of Bottas.

He smashes Perez's previous best by over 1.0s. 

Ocon, Sainz, Tsunoda, Hulkenberg, Verstappen, Gasly, Magnussen, Norris, Leclerc and Perez.

It's a 1m31.428s for Ocon, 0.7s ahead of Alonso.

The two Astons have switched to the inters even though there's more rain on the way.

It's early days but Alonso is setting the early pace with a 1m32.217s. 0.2s ahead of Magnussen.

Stroll slots into third.

With qualifying expected to be wet, FP3 is an important session for drivers and teams to get comfortable with the conditions.

Hulkenberg and Magnussen brave the conditions on wets.
