Jack Miller will race for the first time since it was confirmed that he will swap Ducati for KTM for the 2023 season.

It is also Aleix Espargaro’s first chance at redemption since his remarkable error at the Catalan MotoGP, his home event, where he let victory slip away to Fabio Quartararo because he thought the race had finished prematurely.

With Marc Marquez absent for the foreseeable future after a fourth surgery on his troublesome arm, can anybody stop Quartararo from charging towards the title?

The German MotoGP has been a race that Marquez has dominated, winning every year since 2013, but in his absence there is a major opportunity for those in contention to become 2022 champion.
