Rookie Quartararo pips Marquez to the top spot during Free Practice 2 for the Czech Republic MotoGP at Brno.

With rain forecast for Saturday morning, riders pushed especially hard for a top ten place at the end of the session.

All riders set their best lap of the day in FP2.

Rossi suffered a technical problem on his Yamaha, returning to the pits with smoke from the exhaust of his M1.

Suzuki joined Ducati in unveiling their in-season fairing upgrade today.

Czech Republic MotoGP - Free Practice (2) Results

Rookie Quartararo pips Marquez to the top spot during Free Practice 2 for the Czech Republic MotoGP at Brno.

With rain forecast for Saturday morning, riders pushed especially hard for a top ten place at the end of the session.

All riders set their best lap of the day in FP2.

Rossi suffered a technical problem on his Yamaha, returning to the pits with smoke from the exhaust of his M1.

Suzuki joined Ducati in unveiling their in-season fairing upgrade today.

Jorge Lorenzo is again absent after fractures to his vertebrae at Assen and replaced by HRC test and wild-card rider Bradl, while Suzuki test rider Guintoli has his latest wild-card entry.
