Jordan to compete at Goodwood Revival
Reiging British Touring Car Championship title winner Andrew Jordan is to make a return to the Goodwood Revival later this year.
The Pirtek Racing driver made his debut at Goodwood back in 2012 at the wheel of a Morris Minor, while father Mike competed last year in a Ford GT40.
The pair will now join forces in an Austin A40 in the St Mary;s Trophy having spent the past year converting a period road car into the specification it would have raced in back in 1958.
"I first raced at Goodwood in the Revival in 2012 in a Morris Minor and had a brilliant time," Jordan said. "In fact, I'd go as far to say that it was probably the most fun I've ever had at a race weekend, and the attention to detail at the event was pretty amazing too.
"I was gutted last year that I couldn't do the event because of a date clash with the BTCC, so I was really happy that the dates matched up for me this year and that we've secured an entry.
"The entire reason we decided to build the car was to race it at Goodwood and it has all the original seats and instruments. We're pretty confident it will run at the front too."
