Many had written off Daniel Ticktum’s promising career after the red mist descended on the Briton, who infamously overtook 10 cars under a Safety Car period to take out British F4 title rival Ricky Collard at Silverstone in 2015.

But having served a two-year ban from racing (one year suspended) the 18-year-old is well on the road to a remarkable comeback story.

Announced as a Red Bull junior driver for 2017, Ticktum followed up finishing as the highest-placed rookie in the Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 standings with an opportunistic victory at the iconic Macau Grand Prix.

Ticktum further impressed in a spate of GP3 appearances towards the end of the 2017 season, picking up a podium in the season-finale in Abu Dhabi, before he rounded-out the year by winning the prestigious McLaren BRDC Award. A full campaign in European F3 with Motopark beckons for the Brit in 2018.
