Formula 1 Gossip: Schumacher to join Ferrari?

- Mick Schumacher, son of seven-time Formula 1 world champion champion Michael, has joined the Ferrari driver academy, sources close to the team say (BBC).

- Two-time F1 world champion Fernando Alonso has approached Toyota for a test run in one of its WRC cars, according to reports from Spain (AS in Spanish).

- Red Bull has retained Formula E and WEC driver Sebastien Buemi as its reserve driver for the 2019 F1 season - his 12th year as part of the Red Bull family (Formula1.com).

- Renault F1 driver Nico Hulkenberg has ended a 13-year partnership with sponsor DEKRA (Instagram). 

- McLaren reveals a "sneak peak" of the styling of the numbers picked by drivers Carlos Sainz Jr and Lando Norris that will feature on its 2019 F1 car.
