F1 Gossip: Bottas set for Mercedes exit at the end of 2021

- According to Sky Sport F1 in Italy, Valtteri Bottas’ time with Mercedes looks set to be coming to an end at the end of 2021

The Finn has endured his worst start to a season since joining Mercedes in 2017 and is expected to be replaced by George Russell.

- Lewis Hamilton hopes he’s still not racing in F1 when he turns 40. (corriere.it)

- Formula 1 legend Gerhard Berger believes Hamilton finds it easier to race Max Verstappen than former Mercedes teammate Nico Rosberg. (Sport1)

- Kevin Magnussen has revealed that he would only return to F1 if Mercedes or Red Bull offered him a drive.

He told Autoweek: "If I had a Mercedes or a Red Bull I wouldn't say no. I don't think many racing drivers would, but that's not going to happen. As I said before, I'm very, very happy with the opportunity that I had in Formula 1. Not many people get to have that many years in Formula 1."

- Daniel Ricciardo has sent some encouraging words to a fan, who had been subject to bullying.

A message was posted on Twitter by the child's parent explaining that bullies had stolen his McLaren cap and stomped on it, leaving the boy with marks on his face.

- W Series star Jamie Chadwick says there’s no better time to be a woman in motorsport.

She told Bustle: "But at the same time, I feel like now is the best time. There is no better time to be a woman in motorsport; most of the community want to see women succeed. If you want to get involved, there’s nothing stopping you."
