2024 F1 Austrian Grand Prix - Qualifying - As it happened

Leclerc storms to the top now in the Ferrari with a 1m05.901, less than half a tenth between him and Sainz.

A 1m06.054s puts him 0.147s ahead of Perez. Gasly slots into third, 0.799s down.

Verstappen leads Perez out of the pit lane as qualifying gets underway in Austria.

Q1 will be a struggle for the likes of Zhou, Bottas, Sargeant and Albon. 

Outside of that, the RBs, Haas duo and Aston Martin pair will have to be wary.
