Lewis Hamilton’s dog Roscoe is a vegan who earns $700 per day
He is a vegan bulldog, aged nine, who earns $700 per day from modelling and boasts a huge social media following.
Roscoe was seen following Hamilton through the paddock and relaxing in the Mercedes’ hospitality area.
“Roscoe is now part of a modelling agency and he has auditions, he will go up against ten or 15 different bulldogs, they will need a bulldog for a product,” Hamilton previously told Silver Arrows.
“He gets paid $700 dollars a day, it’s ridiculous, and he gets his treat, he loves it.”
Roscoe, like Hamilton, has a vegan diet.
“He ate normal dog food all of his life, as well as food with meat in it,” Hamilton has explained.
“His breathing has always been bad. [It] meant he was never able to walk very far and his joints would hurt. He also had skin allergies.
“[In 2020] I decided to transition him to a vegan diet. It has changed his life. He now doesn’t have any breathing issues. His throat is no longer restricted, and he doesn’t overheat like he did before and he loves to run. He also has no allergy issues.
“He’s like a puppy again! It’s been amazing to see these changes in Roscoe and I’m so grateful to be able to share this.”
Roscoe has nearly half a million followers on Instagram.
He has been with Hamilton since 2013 and has been spotted at various races around the world.
In the build-up to the 2022 F1 British Grand Prix, he enjoyed a weekend of surfing with Hamilton and cruising in a luxury super-car worth approximately £4m-£5m.
