Red Bull

Max Verstappen is locked into a long-term deal albeit with an escape clause if Helmut Marko also leaves. Verstappen insists an exit won't happen.

Sergio Perez has secured the second seat until the end of 2026 after signing a new deal ahead of the Canadian Grand Prix.

This rules out a possible move for Carlos Sainz - or promotion for Yuki Tsunoda or Daniel Ricciardo.

Ferrari

Lewis Hamilton's huge move to Ferrari in 2025 is the blockbuster move which the driver market rests upon.

He will partner Charles Leclerc who also penned a long-term deal to stay.

Mercedes

George Russell is committed until the end of 2025, while teenage sensation Andrea Kimi Antonelli will graduate from F2 after just a single season to replace the Ferrari-bound Lewis Hamilton.

McLaren

McLaren's exciting duo of Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri are on long-term contracts.

Aston Martin

Lance Stroll, the son of billionaire owner Lawrence Stroll, signed a deal into next year "and beyond".

Fernando Alonso has signed a multi-year deal with Aston Martin, ending links to Mercedes.

Williams

Williams impressively won the race to sign Ferrari's Carlos Sainz.

Sainz was ousted at Ferrari by Hamilton and spent the first half of 2024 surveying options which included Mercedes, Red Bull, Sauber and Alpine.

As those options narrowed he placed his faith in James Vowles' team.

Star driver Alex Albon is admired by top teams but reaffirmed his commitment to Williams.

Alpine

Pierre Gasly has signed a new long-term Alpine contract.

The team confirmed Esteban Ocon wouldn't be driving for them in 2025.

Jack Doohan was then confirmed as Ocon's replacement. Doohan will compete in his rookie season in 2025.

Visa Cash App RB

Daniel Ricciardo and Yuki Tsunoda are out of contract.

Ricciardo entered 2024 hoping to earn the 2025 Red Bull drive. But his patchy form has brought scrutiny on whether RB will keep him.

Liam Lawson, the Red Bull junior, waits in the wings.

Sauber

Nico Hulkenberg will join Sauber, from Haas, in 2025 on a multi-year deal.

Sauber's Valtteri Bottas and Guanyu Zhou are out of contract and are now battling over one available seat.

Sauber will become Audi from 2026, and the German giant has big plans.

Carlos Sainz, whose father won the Dakar Rally for Audi, is also admired.

Haas

Nico Hulkenberg will leave for Sauber. Kevin Magnussen is also out of contract, and Haas have confirmed he will exit.

Ferrari junior Oliver Bearman, who impressed hugely on his F1 debut as a replacement for the ill Carlos Sainz, has been rewarded with a full-time drive at Haas as Hulkenberg's replacement.
