Button impresses at London Triathlon

Jenson Button produced an impressive performance to secure a top ten finish in his outing in the London Triathlon.

Competing to raise funds for the Make-A-Wish Foundation - which makes dreams a reality for children battling against life-threatening illnesses - Button completed the event in a time of 2hrs 14mins 14secs.

That was despite Button suffering from tonsillitis in the run up to the event, which comprised of a 1500 metre swim followed by a 40km bike ride and a 10km run.

At the time of writing, Button has raised more than ?18,000 through his JustGiving page for the charity following his appearance in the event.
