Red Bull Racing has become the latest team to announce a launch date for its 2011 F1 challenger after revealing that it will take the covers off the new RB7 in Spain next month.

The defending champions will join Toro Rosso and Mercedes in launching their cars on 1 February ahead of the start of pre-season testing at the Circuito Ricardo Tormo in Valencia.

Red Bull will be the first of the three teams currently set to launch on the day to reveal its car before Toro Rosso and Mercedes follow suit.

Both Lotus Renault GP and Sauber are due to launch their cars in Valencia on the previous day, while Ferrari will already have shown off its new car at Maranello on January 28.

The opening day of the Valencia test will also see the Williams FW33 make its first public appearance although the team will hold an official launch at a later date when the final livery of the car will be revealed.

McLaren's new car will be launched on 4 February in Berlin ahead of a track debut in the second pre-season test at Jerez.
