Mark Webber wins the F1 2012 British Grand Prix for Red Bull Racing passing Fernando Alonso in the closing stages.

Alonso looked to have the win in the bag, but his decision to use the softer tyres at the end backfired and he was unable to hold off Webber, finishing 3 seconds back at the chequered flag.

Sebastian Vettel meanwhile took the final place on the podium, with Felipe Massa in an encouraging fourth, despite late pressure from Kimi Raikkonen. Romain Grosjean rounded out the top-six, with Michael Schumacher, Lewis Hamilton, Bruno Senna and Jenson Button completing the points' scorers in positions 7 through to 10.
