Red Bull boss Dietrich Mateschitz has insisted that talk about the team's driver line-up for the 2014 F1 season and beyond is 'pure speculation'.

Rumours about the line-up have increased in the aftermath of the Malaysian Grand Prix, with suggestions that Sebastian Vettel's decision to ignore team orders had made it impossible for the defending champion and team-mate Mark Webber to remain together next year.

The team has already moved to state that it was too early to discuss its 2014 pairing, with Mateschitz reiterating that fact and insisting that everything was still open in regards to next year.

"Mark is definitely a candidate for 2014," he told Speed Week. "Whether he retires, only he would know.

"With us, he is always welcome, just as a quick junior like Vergne or Ricciardo from the Toro Rosso team would be. Sorry, that is not a diplomatic answer, which leaves everything open, but that's how it is. Everything else is pure speculation. "
