Button gets new manager for 2005.

Jenson Button will have a new manager this coming season, after John Byfield was ousted from his position as boss of Essentially Sport.

Byfield was the man responsible for Button's ill-attempted move to Williams, which was blocked by F1's Contract Recognition Board [CRB], which ruled in favour of BAR, the team the Englishman will drive for in 2005.

It is believed that Button's decision to extend his contract with Essentially Sport for another three years' was dependent on confirmation that Byfield would leave his position as chief executive and chairman.

"I am delighted to announce that the company has signed a new three-year commercial agreement with Jenson Button," Hickman told British newspaper, The Independent.
