The FIA stewards presiding over the event at Interlagos confirmed they would be looking into the incident, summoning both Perez and Grosjean to meet with them between final practice and qualifying to discuss the alleged impeding on-track.
The stewards swiftly confirmed that there would be no action taken against Perez for the incident.
"The Stewards reviewed video evidence, heard from the drivers of Car 11 (Sergio Perez) and Car 8 (Romain Grosjean) and the team representatives," the bulletin reads.
"Both drivers were on slow laps with Grosjean about to enter the pits, and Perez was setting up for a fast lap. While the interaction between the cars was 'untidy', neither was particularly disadvantaged and the Stewards agreed that it was not dangerous.
"Therefore the Stewards agreed that No Further Action was necessary."
Grosjean and Perez finished 16th and 17th respectively in final practice in Brazil.
Qualifying for the Brazilian Grand Prix begins at 1800 GMT on Saturday (1500 local time).
