VIDEO: Which F1 team has the strongest driver line-up for 2021?

One of the most dramatic Formula 1 driver markets in recent memory has resulted in seven of the 10 teams entering 2021 with at least one new driver.

While Mercedes, Alfa Romeo, and Williams favoured stability by continuing with their same drivers from last year, there were a huge amount of changes up and down the rest of the grid.

Headline moves saw Carlos Sainz switch to Ferrari to replace four-time world champion Sebastian Vettel, who in turn has traded red for green by joining the rebranded Aston Martin squad, while Fernando Alonso makes his eagerly-anticipated return at Alpine.

Red Bull has moved to strengthen their driver roster for 2021 with the addition of F1’s newest race-winner Sergio Perez alongside Max Verstappen as part of the team’s bid to bring a first world championship title back to Milton Keynes since 2013.

Meanwhile, it’s all change down at Haas, with the American squad opting to completely overhaul its drivers for the new campaign by fielding an all-rookie line up consisting of reigning Formula 2 champion Mick Schumacher and Nikita Mazepin. Joining Schumacher and Mazepin in graduating from F2 is new AlphaTauri signing Yuki Tsunoda.
