Sauber tit-for-tat fun with Sergio Perez

After successfully battling his way up from 17th on the grid to eighth position by the end of the 2011 Japanese GP, Sauber F1's Sergio Perez caused despair when he radioed in to race engineer Marco Sch?pbach that the car had lost power, before quickly adding: "I was joking!" Payback was most definitely due, and so Sch?pbach called in Perez for some special wet-weather development work...

After successfully battling his way up from 17th on the grid to eighth position by the end of the 2011 Japanese Grand Prix, Sauber F1's Sergio Perez suddenly radioed in to his race engineer Marco Sch?pbach with a message that the car had lost power.

"I have no more power, no power!" Perez said over the radio, causing a brief outbreak of despair on the pit wall for Sch?pbach and his Sauber colleagues - until Sergio followed it up with: "I was joking!"

It might have been a while coming, but payback was most definitely due. Sch?pbach has now responded with a prank of his own, which stated with calling in the driver for some special development work for wet-weather races that was filmed using hidden cameras ...
