2. Red Bull (2006) - Superman

The release of a new Superman film meant Red Bull ran a custom livery for the 2006 Monaco Grand Prix.

Well before its dominant years at the start of the 2010s, Red Bull was known as the cool, funky team and it continued in 2006.

David Coulthard went on to score the team’s maiden podium, attending the podium ceremony with a red cape.

Memorably, team boss Christian Horner jumped into the swimming pool in celebration with just Superman’s red cape covering his naked body.

3. Jaguar (2004) - Ocean’s Twelve

Jaguar was promoting ‘Ocean’s Twelve’ - a film featuring Hollywood stars George Clooney and Brad Pitt.

A £200,000 diamond was placed in the front of Jaguar’s two F1 cars for that weekend.

Christian Klien crashed his Jaguar and the diamond was never to be seen again.
