Formula 2 and Formula 3 2020 calendars revealed

Formula 2 will once again support Formula 1 at 12 races during the 2020 season, with the confirmation of next year’s calendar being announced.

F2 will begin its campaign supporting the F1 Bahrain Grand Prix at Sakhir on March 20-22, before the series makes its first trip to Zandvoort for the returning Dutch Grand Prix on May 3.

That event is immediately followed by a round in Barcelona, before a string of European races across the summer. The only change to the calendar sees a round in France drop off.

Russia and Abu Dhabi once again act as two of the four ‘flyaway’ races, with the season concluding at the Yas Marina Circuit on November 29.

The Formula 3 calendar was also revealed, with the series supporting F1 at nine races next year, including Zandvoort.

Both championships said a pre-season testing programme will be announced at a later date.
