After a series of postponements and cancellations, Dorna has announced that a proposal will be made to the Spanish Government to start the 2020 MotoGP season with two 'closed-door' races at Jerez, on July 19 and 24.

The sport is then aiming to hold around 10-12 races in Europe - again with two conescutive races likely at most venues, followed by a WorldSBK event - with any overseas rounds this year seen as a bonus...
