- Aprilia team boss Massimo Rivola is targeting an ‘official’ factory team and a satellite squad in MotoGP from 2022. Aprilia currently runs its two-bike team in partnership with Gresini Racing which runs until the end of 2021. (Speedweek)

- Valentino Rossi says he must decide soon on his own MotoGP future and whether he will continue to race beyond 2020. The 40-year-old has confirmed once he retires from two-wheel racing he will switch to car racing and is already targeting the Le Mans 24 Hours, the 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps and the 24 Hours of Nurburgring.
