- Maverick Vinales has shed light on his motocross training injury which forced him to spend a night in hospital as a precaution last month. Speaking in an Instagram Q&A with sunglasses sponsor Oakley, the Yamaha rider has confirmed he injured his lower back and damaged his L1 and L2 vertebrae. But due to the unexpected delay to the MotoGP season it will allow him to make a full recovery before racing returns. (Speedweek)

- Andrea Dovizioso expects the riders who can adapt the best, both physically and mentally, to returning to MotoGP racing after such a long break will be the fastest at the opening rounds when the season eventually starts. (GPOne.com)
