MotoGP Gossip: Jorge Lorenzo criticised for Cal Crutchlow crash comments
Former MotoGP rider and five-time world champion Jorge Lorenzo has been extremely vocal about Cal Crutchlow since being replaced by the Brit as Yamaha's new test rider for 2021.
This dates back to last season when Lorenzo called Yamaha's move to replace him with Crutchlow as, 'exchanging gold for bronze'.
The pair's relationship has not gotten better since, with Lorenzo continuing to voice his opinions on the British rider, which also involved showing an image of Crutchlow crashing at Phillip Island.
The post in question is from the official MotoGP Instagram account, where it shows Crutchlow in the gravel after a fall at turn two of the opening Qatar test.
Crutchlow was not alone though as several other riders went down at the same corner including Alex Marquez and Maverick Vinales. However, Lorenzo was quick to point out his thoughts which led to this.

If Lorenzo's activity of the last 12 months was anything to go by, its that a response would be forthcoming.
That is exactly what happened, as Lorenzo responded with: "What if you turn off the phone, stop doing stoppies and start winning some races? You are already 26. Focus on what's important and don't waste your talent."
Pacesetter on day one of the opening test Aleix Espargaro also got involved when replying to the BT Sport MotoGP twitter account.
Espargaro responded to Lorenzo and his comments by saying: “I prefer to be [a] good human than a champion! Love you Cal!."
A comment Lorenzo was quick in responding to.

Crutchlow has not gotten involved in the spat to any real extent since it began last year. Speaking about the original comments that were made in November, Crutchlow said: "At the end of the day I don’t really have anything to say to him."
While this is sure to rumble on, the second test at the Losail International Circuit begins tomorrow, with a three day test for riders and teams ahead of the season opener on March 28.
