As part of the 2023 GASGAS Factory Racing Team, KTM also announced a return to the Austrian brand for Pol Espargaro - the other GASGAS seat remains unconfirmed.

The other announcement saw MotoGP confirm sprint races at every round next season.

MotoGP about to become 'more spectacular' - Marquez

After confirmation that MotoGP will have sprint races at every round in 2023, Marc Marquez has become the lastest to favour the change.

“I think it's a wise decision, especially because it's in favour of the show. As a rider I like Sundays, because that's when the races take place.

"Sprint races will make MotoGP more spectacular and give a different point of view of the weekend,” said the eight-time world champion.
