Japanese MotoGP at Motegi - LIVE UPDATES

And it's over. The race has been declared over and it's full points. Jorge Martin is the winner of the Japanese MotoGP ahead of Francesco Bagnaia and Marc Marquez.

The red flags are out again before the start.

The warm-up lap is underway for the second time today. 

Riders are heading back onto the circuit but the rain is still very heavy.

There will be a quick re-start procedure in five minutes before getting back underway. 

The rain has eased up and there's a chance we could get a restart.

Red flag as riders were beginning to aquaplane. The red flags didn't come out in time for Johann Zarco who crashed on lap 13. 

It's raining much, much more as Martin increases his lead to 1.5 seconds.

Bezzecchi has just taken half a second out of Bagnaia on lap 9. 

Martin is putting on another stunning performance as he's dropped Bagnaia by nearly a second. 

Martin leads. The Spaniard's pace is unrelenting at the moment. 

Martin is through on Bagnaia for second and is lining up a move for the lead.

Brad Binder has crashed in sector one. 

Pirro pits as Aleix Espargaro becomes the new race leader. 

Morbidelli is still out but the entire lead group has overtaken him. Pirro still leads however.

Big mistake from Martin at turn three as he's lost multiple positions, including one to Bagnaia. 

Michele Pirro, Fabio Quartararo, Franco Morbidelli, Cal Crutchlow and Stefan Bradl stayed out. 

Everyone is in the pits. This is a dramatic opening lap.

Jorge Martin leads as Aleix Espargaro has made a cracking start. The Aprilia rider has gone through on Bagnaia for P3.

Contact at turn one as Maverick Vinales has gone down. 

The formation lap is underway as rain is falling. 

There's rain in the air ahead of the race start at Motegi.
