Indonesian MotoGP: LIVE UPDATES from the grand prix

Bagnaia looks to have this one under control.

Vinales is coming back at Bagnaia and is bringing Quartararo along with him.

Bagnaia leads. The factory Ducati rider is through at turn 10. 

Bagnaia is just three tenths behind Vinales. This looks ominous for the Aprilia rider.

Bagnaia is slowly ctaching Vinales. The gap is finally under a second between the pair. 

Johann Zarco has crashed at the same corner as Martin. 

Martin has fallen at turn 11. That is a huge mistake from the Spaniard.

Jorge Martin has crashed out of the race. Incredible. 

Binder makes contact again, this time with Miguel Oliveira which has led to the RNF Aprilia rider being pushed into the gravel. 

Marc Marquez is down again. It's a second fall in race conditions this weekend - turn 13 this time around. 

Martin leads Vinales by 1.5 seconds, a gap the latter holds over Bagnaia and Aleix Espargaro.

It's also been a great start from Francesco Bagnaia. The world champion is up from 13th to sixth. 

What a start from Jorge Martin who has gone from sixth to first. 

And it's lights out at the Indonesian MotoGP. 

The formation lap is underway at Mandalika. 

Big gamble from Aleix Espargaro as the Aprilia rider has opted for the soft rear tyre, which Michelin advised against using. 

Luca Marini starts from pole ahead of Maverick Vinales and Aleix Espargaro.
