Americas MotoGP at COTA as it happened

• Maverick Vinales wins epic Americas MotoGP, Marc Marquez crashes out from lead

• Maverick Vinales sets record with MotoGP victory with a third manufacturer

VInales has responded as the lead increases to 1.4 seconds with just over a lap to go. 

Vinales still leads but Acosta has the lead down to under a second. 

Vinales has broken Acosta's resistance with some punishing laps. Bastianini is challenging Martin hard for third place.

Vinales takes the lead at turn 11. What a sensational comeback from the Aprilia rider.

Acosta leads once again but Vinales is charging. The Aprilia rider has moved past Martin and claimed second. 

Marquez takes the lead but he's gone down at turn 11. 

Acosta takes the lead of the race and Marquez follows him through on Martin.

Bagnaia's day is getting worse as Vinales goes through. 

Martin has lost six tenths to Acosta as Bagnaia comes under big pressure from Vinales.

Takaaki Nakagami and Franco Morbidelli have both crashed out of the race.

What a move from Acosta as he takes second away from Bagnaia at turn one. 

Marquez is down to fourth again after hitting the rear of Martin's bike when trying to overtake for the lead.

Martin leads from Marquez, Bagnaia, Acosta and Miller. Vinales is still within touch.

It's all kicking off on lap four as Marquez gets through on Bagnaia and Acosta. 

The battling between Acosta and Martin has brought Bagnaia and Marquez into contention. 

Contact between Miller and Marquez as Bagnaia comes through. Marquez eventually gets through on Miller as Martin hounds Acosta for the lead.

Vinales is already back up to ninth as Acosta continues to lead from Martin and Miller.

Pedro Acosta leads as Maverick Vinales has been pushed outside the top ten. What a disaster for the pole man. Vinales was pushed wide by Farncesco Bagnaia.
