German MotoGP at Sachsenring: Sprint race LIVE UPDATES!

Jorge Martin secures victory in the German MotoGP sprint ahead of Oliveira, Bagnaia, Bastianini, Morbidelli, Marc Marquez and Vinales. 

Marquez is trying to take sixth away from Vinales but his overtake at turn one fails.

Pedro Acosta has gone through the gravel which ends his hopes of a top ten. 

Huge save from Marc Marquez at turn one.

The top four are all together as Bastianini has joined the part. Marquez is now up to seventh after getting through on Fernandez. 

Marc Marquez is now eighth after finding his way through on Binder.

Martin swoops through on Bagnaia for the lead at turn eight, as does Oliveira at the final corner.

Marquez is up to ninth as riders begin lap two of 15.

Bagnaia leads into turn one. What a start from the world champion.

Martin secures pole position ahead of Miguel Oliveira and Raul Fernandez. What a qualifying for Trackhouse Racing. 

Alex Marquez is the next to have crashed and that's going to end any hopes for anyone else. 

That was a nasty off for Vinales!

Vinales is on his knees and seems in some discomfort after going down at turn ten. 

Brilliant effort from Oliveira as he goes second fastest behind Martin.

Bagnaia momentarily stopped as he didn't want any riders following him. 

Vinales is yet to find his best form and is currently sixth fastest.

New lap record from Martin as he dips below the mid 1m 19s barrier. What a start from the championship leader.

Q2 is go at Sachsenring! Who will claim pole position? 

It's Raul Fernandez and Bezzecchi who advance to Q2.
