Having made only minor tweaks to its well known MotoGP colour scheme in recent seasons, Repsol Honda is promising a major revamp for 2013.

"The Repsol Honda Team is preparing a new livery and leathers design for 2013, which will be unveiled at the start of next year," said a Repsol statement.

"After a succession of seasons using basically the same image with only minor tweaks, 2013 promises a major shift in bike and rider decoration.

"The revamp has been carried out by a great designer, well known for his work."

Repsol has been title sponsor of the factory Honda MotoGP team since 1995.

Moto2 champion Marc Marquez, who is moving up to MotoGP alongside Dani Pedrosa next season, in place of the retiring Casey Stoner, has a white livery for this week's Valencia test.
