LCR Honda has become the latest team to confirm an online team launch ahead of the 2021 MotoGP season.

New signing Alex Marquez will unveil his Castrol colours on the team's official Facebook page on Friday, February 19 at 12:00 CET.

Team-mate Takaaki Nakagami will then take the covers off his Idemitsu-backed RC213V on Saturday, February 20 at 10:00 CET.

Marquez is moving to LCR, in place of Cal Crutchlow, after spending his rookie season at Repsol Honda, where he took a pole position and podium.

Nakagami – preparing for his fourth year in MotoGP, all spent with LCR - enjoyed his best premier-class season in 2020 with a pole position, pair of fourth place finishes and top Honda in the world championship (tenth), but saw several podium chances slip away.

Both Marquez and Nakagami will use the latest-spec Honda machinery in 2021, Nakagami having raced year-old bikes in his previous MotoGP campaigns.

Avintia will hold the first of the online MotoGP team launches on February 5, with Ducati due to be the first of the Factory teams on February 9th. Repsol Honda is yet to confirm but February 11 looks possible, with KTM (Factory and Tech3) set for February 12.

Monster Yamaha has confirmed February 15th. Suzuki and Aprilia are yet to announce, but are expected to wait until the Qatar test in early March. Petronas Yamaha are yet to reschedule after the cancellation of the Sepang test.
