Sorenson not out, insists Petty.
Richard Petty Motorsports has categorically denied reports that the organisation will downsize to three teams and release driver Reed Sorenson in the process.
At least one internet story claimed that AJ Allmendinger would be moving from the #44 RPM Dodge to the #43 Sorenson drives, with the #44 becoming inactive, but the team's director of media relations, Drew Brown, said Friday that's that was not the case, and that that there will be no driver changes this year.

"Richard Petty Motorsports is a four-car team and will continue to be a four-car team," Brown said, "There are no changes. Reed is the driver of the No. 43 Dodge."
