Country quartet to sing anthem at MIS.
Karen Fairchild, Kimberly Roads, Phillip Sweet and Jimi Westbrook make up the four-member country group known as Little Big Town and this hot new band will sing the National Anthem prior to Sunday's Pepsi 400 Presented by Farmer Jack NASCAR Winston Cup Series event at Michigan International Speedway.
"We are excited about welcoming Little Big Town to MIS and making them a part of our pre-race festivities on Sunday," said MIS President Brett Shelton.

The quartet performed the National Anthem at The White House in June for President Bush's tee-ball game on the South Lawn. They were also named the top-selling artist for Fan Fair 2002, outselling the #2 artist by a wide margin.
Together since 1998, Little Big Town made their first public performance at the Grand Ole Opry and were signed by Monument Records/Sony Music Nashville shortly after. They recently released their debut album, a self-titled CD, featuring their first single, Don't Waste My Time.
The foursome wrote six of the album's ten songs and co-produced the entire disc. Although each member calls a different city home, Fairchild from Atlanta, Georgia, while Roads hails from Cornelia, Georgia, Sweet from Cherokee Village and Westbrook from Sumiton, Alabama, they seem to have found a new home together, at top of the country music charts.
The anthem for Saturday's Cabela's 250 NASCAR Busch Series event will be performed by Erin Michelle Moss, Miss Michigan 2002.
Miss Moss is currently a junior at Anderson University in Anderson, Indiana majoring in Bible and Religion. Following graduation, she plans to enter the Christian Ministry as a Motivational Speaker on Leadership. Moss grew up in Stevensville, Michigan and is an accomplished flutist and enjoys working with kids.
Moss has been busy preparing for the September 21 Miss America Pageant where she will represent the state of Michigan in this year's competition. Moss credits her relationship with God and her family for the success that has enriched her life.
