Riggs hoping for a little luck at Dover.
When a racer begins wishing for good luck you know things haven't been going too well of late and such is the case for Scott Riggs and the #10 ppc Nesquik Racing team as they approach this weekend's MBNA All American Heroes 200 at Dover.

When the 2002 NASCAR Busch Series approached its half way point following the Kroger 300 at Kentucky, Scott Riggs and the #10 ppc Racing Nesquik team looked like solid title contenders despite having a rookie driver at the helm. However the second half of the season has so far been something of a disaster with just one top ten finish in ten races, a couple of hard crashes and a few rare mechanical ailments.
Now almost 500 points out of the points lead, Riggs' main focus is to stay in the top five and wrap up the Rookie of the Year title as quickly as possible.
"The past couple of months, the Nesquik Racing Team has had several mishaps, most that were out of our control," said Riggs who has won before at 'The Monster Mile' when he competed in the Craftsman Truck Series. "Though I hate to use the word luck, I am hoping to find a little when we unload at the 'Monster Mile'."
Toll House Goblins and Ghosts Invade the Monster Mile: Riggs will run the Toll House Halloween Cookies Ford Taurus in Dover this weekend.
"Toll House is in the hot seat this week for Dover," said Riggs. "We are taking our own ghosts and goblins to the Monster Mile this weekend to help promote the new Toll House Halloween Cookies. No pressure, but Toll House is one-for-one as the primary sponsor. Jeff [Green] won in Dover last year with Toll House on the hood, and I would love nothing more than to make it a tradition."
The Nesquik Racing Team is taking the same car to Dover International Speedway that Riggs raced at Bristol in August (Start 2nd/Finish 18th), Nazareth (Start 4th/ Finish 2nd) and Pikes Peak (Start 17th/ Finish 16th).
