Stacker 2 begins 'Splash of Energy' tour.

NASCAR. We have lift off. The Stacker 2/YJ Stinger "Splash of Energy Tour 2003" made its debut last week at Nashville Superspeedway, and it will splash down at 11 more Winston Cup Series and Busch Series events this year.

The "Splash of Energy Tour" entertains fans with a variety of interactive stations each day the host track is open. After fans sample the new YJ Stinger energy drink that comes in three flavours, kids and adults can display or regain their youthful exuberance by participating in big wheel drag races, hula-hoop contests and basketball precision games. The more vocal fans can use the karaoke machine to sing their favourite song.

The foundation of the "Splash of Energy Tour" is a Stacker 2 branded 70-feet long activity centre. A YJ Stinger branded stage is pulled out from the centre panels of the activity centre, housing the tour emcee and the karaoke centre. From the top of the activity centre, Stacker 2 and YJ Stinger models can interact with visitors while tossing premiums such as Stacker 2 branded t-shirts, hats and air-fresheners.

"We're asking NASCAR fans to sample products that boost their energy, and we want to provide them with an outlet to expend that energy after they've sampled our products," said Bob Emilian, Vice President of Marketing for NVE Pharmaceuticals. "NASCAR fans get to the track early, and we want them to come to our energy tour and stay there for a long time to build a relationship with our brands. We think we've developed enough activities and stimulation to accomplish that."

Stacker 2, "The World's Strongest Fat Burner," sponsors Kenny Wallace in the Winston Cup Series and Scott Wimmer in the Busch Series. YJ Stinger, the newest energy drink from Stacker 2, is set to launch this summer and comes in three flavours: Pounding Punch, Sinful Citrus and Enraged Raspberry.

The "Splash of Energy Tour" was at Nashville Superspeedway June 5-7 and will also touch down at the following locations: Infineon Raceway, Sonoma, Calif., June 20- 22; The Milwaukee Mile, Milwaukee, Wis., June 27- 29; Rio Bravo Restaurant, Daytona Beach, Fla., July 3-5; Pocono Raceway, Pocono, Pa., July 25-27; Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Indianapolis, Ind., August 1-3; Bristol Motor Speedway, Bristol, Tenn., Sept. 12-14; Dover International Speedway, Dover, Del., Sept. 19-21; Memphis Motorsports Park, Memphis, Tenn., Oct. 17-18; Phoenix International Raceway, Avondale, Ariz., Oct. 31-Nov. 2; Homestead-Miami Speedway, Homestead, Fla., Nov. 14-16.
