"Chevrolet is proud to have such a dominant team of drivers at this prestigious event," said GM Racing marketing manager Gary Claudio, "Speedweeks will be a family affair for both Chevrolet and our NASCAR drivers, starting out with Chevrolet-powered Daytona Prototypes and finishing with the Monte Carlos in the Daytona 500."
Stewart and Earnhardt Jr both have prior Rolex experience, with the 2002 Winston Cup champion piloting a Crawford prototype the year before his NASCAR success, and Junior joining his late father in a Corvette C5-R the same season, finishing fourth overall and second in class.
"I am really excited about going to Daytona again with Chevrolet," Earnhardt admitted, "The Crawford-Chevrolet opportunity came up in November and given the chance to work with Andy Wallace and Tony Stewart, it was simply too good to pass up."
Johnson, meanwhile, will be making his first ever start in the Daytona sportscar event, after finishing second in the NASCAR Winston Cup Series standings in 2003.
Stewart and Earnhardt will join Wallace in the #2 Crawford DP03, while Johnson will partner veterans Leitzinger, Forbes-Robinson and Brule in the #4 car.
