Another Earnhardt added to Michigan entry.
Kerry Earnhardt, elder brother of current NASCAR Nextel Cup points leader Dale Earnhardt Jr, will attempt to qualify for Sunday's DHL 400 at the Michigan International Speedway in a fourth Chevrolet Monte Carlo entered by Richard Childress Racing.
As Childress looks to find stability with the #30 AOL team and tries to find a way to make his entire stable equally competitive, he has added Earnhardt and the #33 Bass Pro Shops Chevy to his arsenal for this weekend's trip to the Irish Hills.

After two outings blighted by crashes so far in 2004, the K. Earnhardt/RCR combo are looking for better fortunes this weekend at the track where Earnhardt made his NASCAR Winston Cup debut for Dave Marcis' #71 team in 2000.
Earnhardt's inaugural race in the #33 Chevrolet was at Talladega Superspeedway in April where he was running just outside the top 10 when his day ended prematurely after a tap from another machine. He also competed in the NASCAR All-Star Open where he, again, was wrecked by another car when he was in a position to get voted into the All-Star Challenge itself courtesy of topping the fan vote.
