Coastguard to back HAAS CNC in Texas Cup round.

Nextel Cup team Haas CNC Racing has revealed that the Coastguard will serve as primary sponsor on Mike Bliss' #0 Chevrolet in the Samsung/Radio Shack 500 at Texas Motor Speedway next weekend.

"Since the Coastguard sponsors our Busch Series entry driven by Justin Labonte, this was a great chance for them step into Cup competition for a weekend at the track where they rolled out their racing programme just a year ago," explained team general manager Joe Custer.

"Texas is home to the Labonte family and Justin's father Terry, who is a part-owner of our Busch team, is scheduled to compete in a Hendrick Motorsports car at this event. Terry is also being inducted into the Texas Motorsports Hall of Fame next week and we thought it would be nice to commemorate that occasion as well."

NetZero Best Buy Racing will return as the primary sponsor on the #0 for the following event at Phoenix International Raceway.
