Elliot made one start in the Busch Series last year at Memphis Motorsports Park where he qualified on the outside pole, and the Milwaukee race will be his first race in the championship in 2005.
"I'm honoured to drive the Miller High Life car for Rusty Wallace," he said. "This is a first-class organisation and I'm proud to be back in this Series. It's great to be back with the fans and on board with Miller High Life. I'm really looking forward to working with these guys to see if we can put this #64 car in victory lane."
Rusty Wallace formed his in 2004 with Billy Parker and Jamie McMurray behind the wheel; McMurray taking the teams first win last November at Darlington Raceway.
Now Wallace is confident that Elliot can help the team secure another visit to victory lane.
"I'm really looking forward to having Bill Elliott drive this race car," he said. "I can't think of anyone better to sit in the seat than a champion and legend like him. It would be awesome to bring home a victory for Miller High Life in Milwaukee."
