Martinsville sold out.

The hype of the Chase for the Nextel Cup and the poised positions of the ten championship contenders has translated into a sold out race at the Martinsville Speedway on Sunday.

Martinsville, which is fighting to keep both its Nextel Cup dates, were no doubt pleased to announce on Tuesday that all grandstand seats for Sunday's Subway 500 had been sold.

In an effort to meet demand, the circuit will put a limited number of 'standing room only' tickets on sale on race morning.
