Schrader draws pole for Shootout.

Nextel Cup veteran Ken Schrader had drawn pole position for what could be his final appearance in the Budweiser Shootout, meaning that he will start his first race with the #21 Wood Brothers team from the best possible position.

Schrader, who qualifies for the annual pre-season all-star race by virtue of having won the 1989 and 1990 editions of the 70-lasp sprint, drew top spot from a field of 21 drivers comprising former winners of the event and last year's Bud Pole winners.

Jimmie Johnson will start alongside Schrader with reigning Nextel Cup Champion Tony Stewart third. Stewart and Kyle Busch, who will start 14th, led the two Friday practice sessions at the 2.5-mile Daytona International Speedway.

The qualifying draw wasn't kind to Michael Waltrip however, who will start his first Bud Shootout since 1992 from 21st and last position.
