Michael 'Fatback' McSwain will return to the Nextel Cup pit box with the famous #21 Wood Brothers team this weekend, replacing David Hyder as Ken Schrader's crew chief.

The ever-recognisable 'Fatback' will be charged with trying to turn Schrader's season around after a poor run of form that has left the legendary #21 Ford teetering on the brink of the top 35 in owner standings.

The ever-recognisable 'Fatback' will be charged with trying to turn Schrader's season around after a poor run of form that has left the legendary #21 Ford teetering on the brink of the top 35 in owner standings.

McSwain, who has previously found success with the likes of Bobby Labonte and Elliott Sadler, will be in charge of the #21 Little Debbie backed entry for this weekend's Pennsylvania 500 at the Pocono Raceway, a track where Schrader finished 30th earlier this year.

In addition to the hiring of McSwain, Wood Brothers/JTG Racing have also promoted veteran Ernie Cope onto Schrader's crew to assist McSwain.
