Team boss Donlavey admits 'it's over.'
One of NASCAR's most enduring team principals Junie Donlavey has admitted that his team will not return to NASCAR and that at the age of 81 his career as a team boss is over.
Donlavey, whose #90 team last ran a Nextel Cup race in 2002, is NASCAR's longest serving team boss and made a hugely popular appearance at the Richmond International Raceway last weekend where he told reporters there was no way he would be bringing his team back for even a token appearance.

Although Donlavey still keeps his workshop open he told a large throng of press that the only real activity that occurs there is when prospective buyers turn up to view his last couple of chassis that are for sale.
His team may have only won one Cup Series race in its 50-year history but it provided NASCAR with a host of top name drivers who all served their apprenticeship with the Virginia based outfit.
"There's no way in the world I'd try to make a comeback now," said the ex-WWII serviceman. "As far as racing's concerned, I've done all I'm gonna do."
