BUSCH: Harvick wins...again.
Kevin Harvick won his ninth NASCAR Busch race of the season on Saturday at the Texas Motor Speedway, beating off-track friend Tony Stewart even though he ran out of fuel on the final lap.
Harvick's victory in the O'Reilly Challenge 300 takes him to within one victory of the all-time Busch Series record of ten wins in a single season and increases his points lead to more than 830 points over Carl Edwards, who finished seventh on Saturday.

Once again Nextel Cup drivers dominated the event, taking eight of the top nine positions with Harvick and Stewart duking it out for the lead most of the day. However with a lack of late caution periods forcing most of the field to either gamble on fuel or make a late race stop for a top-up Stewart was forced to ease back his pace, giving Harvick a big enough lead so that when he came off the final turn and his tank ran dry, much like Stewart did in the Cup event recently in Kansas, Harvick could still afford to coast across the line to victory.
Behind the top two Jeff Burton, Mark Martin and veteran Ron Hornaday rounded out the top five with JJ Yeley, Edwards, Denny Hamlin, Bobby Labonte and Todd Kluever completing the top ten.
Juan Montoya's second Busch start didn't go as smoothly as his first as he lost several laps following a brush with the outside wall and finished 28th. However once again the Colombian showed a great turn of pace in the #42 Chip Ganassi Racing Dodge and was by no means daunted by the ultra-fast 1.5-mile Texas oval.
