Petty secures Wells Fargo backing.
Kyle Petty's sponsorship quandary improved for the second week running when he confirmed that Wells Fargo would return to provide primary backing for his #45 Dodge for twelve races this year.
Not concerned by the fact that Petty is standing down from driving duties for five races this year in order to provide colour commentary for TNT, the CEO of Petty Enterprises has now secured primary backing for the #45 Dodge for 34 of the 36 races in 2007.

"We're proud to have Wells Fargo continue its sponsorship of Petty Enterprises," said Kyle Petty. "They are the premier financial services company in the U.S. and an excellent partner with our other top-quality sponsors, like General Mills, Marathon Oil, Tyre Kingdom and Coca Cola.
