BDR unaffected by bankruptcy move.
Bill Davis has said that his NASCAR race team will be unaffected by the news that Bill Davis Trucking has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.
The move has come following a lawsuit filed against the company resulting from an accident but will not have an impact on the racing side of the company - with the two being separate companies.
"This has been a very unfortunate chain of events and Gail and I certainly hate that it ever had to happen," Bill Davis said.

"Bill Davis Trucking and Bill Davis Racing are two completely separate entities and the race team will in no way be affected by today's announcement."
