Crash Media Group is looking for a creative and knowledgeable junior social media executive to manage all channels at Crash.net. Crash is one of the largest motorsports sites in the world and is going from strength to strength.
The role itself is varied, from content production to channel management, we are looking for someone with a genuine passion for motorsport and a working knowledge of how to use social media for an online publication.
Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:
- Manage the output and scheduling of all content on Crash's social media channels.
- Produce video and image content for social media channels including YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
- Cover live sporting events on social media platforms, creating quick turnaround content.
- Work with website editor and journalists to schedule article promotion on social channels to drive traffic.
- Plan content for upcoming events alongside the Social Media Manager & Content Team.
- Work with Social Media Manager & Content Team to build a content strategy for the brand across all platforms.
- Engage with social media users and respond to comments across all platforms.
- Regularly monitor competitor social media sites and create competitor analysis reports.
Key Skills/Experience;
Essential
- A keen interest in Formula 1, MotoGP, or motorsport in general.
- A working knowledge of social media channels (YouTube, Facebook & Instagram etc.)
- Video & Photo editing skills (Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop) is a must.
- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A creative thinker.
- Able to work as part of a team, as well as on your own initiative
- Flexible and enthusiastic with the ability to work well under pressure
Desirable
- Experience working with an online publication/ would be desirable, but not essential.
- Degree in journalism
The position is based in our office in Farringdon, London. Salary up to £25,000 for an exceptional candidate. Benefits include: pension, health insurance, laptop, bonus.
